Dates + Deadlines

Please review the following dates and deadlines:

• General registration is open through April 30th, 2024. 

• Late registration will be open through May 15th, 2024. Please note that housing and meal plans will be not be available after April 30th, 2024 as reservations with ASU will need to be finalized at that time. If you register after April 30th, you will have to arrange your own housing and meals. 

Please register early! Space is limited and registration will close when we reach capacity. Any registrations that come in after our participant capacity is reached will be refunded in full.

How to Register

Registration will be handled through an online portal. In the portal, you will be prompted to provide information, select options, and pay fees.

There are two registration options for CoLang 2024. You will be asked to select one at the beginning of the registration process:

• Two-week workshop session only (June 3 - 14)

• Four-week workshop + practica sessions (June 3 - 28)

Once you select your registration type, you will be prompted to provide information and then select from housing (optional) and meal plans (optional). If you need to change your registration type (e.g., from the two-week session to the four-week session), you will need to open a new registration page and start the process over.

Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a reference number from an ASU email address (if you don't receive this email right away, check your spam folder). 

Registered participants will be sent an email with instructions for selecting their workshops after general registration closes.

Cancellation Policy

If you choose to cancel your participation at CoLang before April 30, 2024, you will be refunded 100% of money paid through registration. If you cancel after April 30, 2024, you will be refunded your registration fee only. This is to cover the costs incurred by the coordination of registrants’ housing and meal plans. If we, the directors of CoLang 2024, cancel CoLang 2024, you will be refunded 100% of money paid through registration.

Participant letters of invitation and eligibility to enter the USA

Please be aware of the requirements for entry into the USA for your nationality, and that you are eligible to do so. This minimally requires that you have a valid passport with 3-6 months before expiration, but it may also involve acquiring a visa. It will also likely require you to complete the Electronic System for Travel Authorization process. We are happy to provide you with a personalized participant letter to support your entry to the USA to attend CoLang. Please email us with your details, and we'll work with you to create that letter.
